Server locks up when Desktop Central service starts

I've recently inherited a server where the processor sticks at 100% and the whole box locks up anytime the Desktop Central starts. I do know that the previous owner had recently updated it and scheduled it to push out updates.

In the serverout0.txt log I see this at the end:
