SMTP test failed

SMTP test failed

When setting up SMTP Server, when attempting to test, I receive an error indicating Sending Failed: Unable to connect SMTP server.

I have PMP installed on SUSE VM. Verified DNS is set correctly and can ping SMTP server from the SUSE network tools, both by IP and DNS name, yet the test message fails in the web.
