as in, our team recently acquired ownership of the production environment.

our DBA team has informed us they need to move our sql instance to a new server.

what is the best practice for updating the sql configuration?

i found this KB

but was unable to locate a file    changeDBServer.bat

and the KB doesnt really specify what version it is referencing. any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

side note: is there a way to retrieve/change the admin password
