Technician has no edit option on report he created?

Technician has no edit option on report he created?

I have a technician that created a report a while ago but back then he had the SDAdmin role and now he doesn't have it anymore but he has a role that gives him full access to reports and he can't edit that report anymore. I had him to create the same report with a different name and he is able to edit that one. What would cause him to loose the edit option on the report that he created since he lost admin access? Can he regain edit access to this report? We are running SDP 9.2 Build 9211 with MSSSQL database.
