V12 lack of intuative configuration documentation

V12 lack of intuative configuration documentation

We migrated to v12 and like most migrations within the OPManager platforms, it was painful. This time, I fear its been irreversibly damaging to our DB. I liked the added feature of vCenter Auto Discovery, however I don't believe it ingested the existing devices in a healthy manner. If I go to a device within the vCenter inventory and try to start monitoring it, there's a prompt to add an IP. When I try and add that IP (which should have already been known during the auto discover of an existing devices), it indicates the IP is already assigned to a device. Furthermore to complicate my migration, I cant find an intuitive document that highlights the much needed process of how to bulk add monitors (by templates?) and notifications (which seem to duplicate each time a notification is touched by way of the server device page itself). The much anticipated methodology of creating intelligent automation by way of rules is impossible to configure as there is no suggested step by step process. In which order or methodology does the following get created (vCenter Auto Discover, then device templates (containing alarms), notification profiles and then rules???  The product appears to be making the leap to enterprise level with features, but still lacks workflow to build the configuration and is still compartmental and confusing. As most have indicated, the GUI is slow and frustrating as well. We want to continue with the product, but the lack of v12 supporting documentation and lack of desire to assist in the support community is not making it easy. Any insight from customers that have had success or insight as to the sequence of configuration or Manage Engine design engineering support would be most appreciated.
