VMWare Monitoring problem with VM and multiple network card
Hi, we're testing opmanager with vmware plugin and we seems to have problems when the VM has multiple network interface.
Just an example: We have a win2008 machine with 2 network interfaces, one on the public network and one in a private storage network not routed outside of the storage switches.
When we discovered the host we saw that opmanager discovered the VM with the "private" ip address as the main address and as the hostname too (this address is not in the dns reverse lookup).
The WMI monitor on this machine was not working and the machine was also in an error state.
I've changed the machine Name to the read machine name and the ip address to the public IP address but WMI continue to not work.
I've tryed to check traffics going out from opmanager and discovered that when i try to Test Credential for WMI he's trying to contact the old private ip address of the Virtual Machine and cannot reach it.
Anyone with a solution for this?
